Project description

The Youth Community Accountability Project (Y-CAP) project shall be implemented in two (2) districts namely; Limulunga and Mazabuka with financial support from GIZ Back-Up Health. Its specific objectives ensure the following:

  1. Implement a youth friendly Social Accountability Framework in Limulunga and Mazabuka districts to monitor and feedback successes and challenges related to services delivered under the Global Fund investments
  2. Leveraging the findings of CBM to influence national strategies and policies around the health, rights and needs of adolescents and young people

This Accountability Framework is a community driven tool that supports young people to:

Remain meaningfully engaged throughout the entire grant cycle, especially during grant implementation. Engagement ensures country objectives are met by upholding the rights of young people to access services and by ensuring that services remain responsive to young people and grounded in reality
