About me

Levy Hartlane Chikuwah is a Zambian highly motivated and hardworking individual. He is Research oriented fellow, experienced with various research techniques aimed at identifying trends and needs of the community. These may be ranging from HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health, water and Sanitation, Social protection and other contemporary issues of significance and to inform effectively in designing programs that would respond to these trends.

    Research/Program Associate

    Examining the role of Antiretroviral therapy (ART) supply on retention and virologic suppression
    Supervising entry of patient data correctly on tablets and uploaded onto the database timely and accurately
    Conduct daily updates on enrolment, weekly reports on patient supplies, challenges and any other information relevant to the project
    Liaise, establish, and maintain productive, effective working relationships with clinic staff at research station/health facility/learning institutions and ensure minimal disruption to normal activities
    Ensure ethical research procedures are adhered to in process of recruitment

  • 2016 - 2017
    International Labour Organization

    Programme officer (Social Protection)

    Undertook background research and prepared draft policy/report briefs
    Collected and systematized country case studies on social protection
    Analyzed and systematized qualitative and quantitative information relevant for the projects
    Drafted concept notes and meetings minutes
    Assisted with daily media monitoring of articles about Social Protection appeared in main-stream media (online and paper-based newspaper, blogs, radio platforms, etc).
