    To supervising Implementation Officers and provides oversite of all community field staff.To actively participate in the implementation and Supervision of appropriate technical strategies and tailored approaches for improving access to HTS including rapid HIV testing, “provider-initiated” testing and testing (PITC) in medical settings, and facility- and community-based HTS, including targeted index testing. To will ensure the implementation of all treatment strategies such as tracing activities as well as roll-out of DSD models and patient education on Viral Load. S/he will provide support to Community staff and Clinical Teams as required in providing high quality HIV services which comply with the national guidelines

    Assist in formulation, dissemination and training of age appropriate counseling, disclosure and adherence guidelines.
    To act as a contact point person to help with disseminating all program information from CIDRZ community Team to the MOH facilities and community and vice versa.
    Oversee the hiring, training and ongoing supervision of MC community Mobilizes ,
     Mentor ,Supervise and support MC mobilizes and treatment supporters
    Responsible for developing and strengthening the referral/feed back system from OPD VCT and community to other support services.
    Provide regular feedback to local community stakeholders and appropriate MOH staff regarding community and related issues.
    To create demand for MC through information dissemination in Schools ,Markets ,work place and media
     Improve access to sexual and reproductive health services for the youths in selected communities through formation of peads/adolescent clinics and through formation of youth friendly corners.
    Collaborate with the Ministry of health staff to coordinate clinic visits and supportive visits to achieve our targets.
    To facilitate at stake holders meetings, workplace meetings, mass media programs
    Monitor and evaluate community activities in the province.

    Implementation Officer ; ART/TB/HTC/Adolescent /Peads

    Ensure all clients tested for HIV in the community are linked to treatment, care, support and preventive services
    Weekly and monthly updating of the late lists and ensures that correct Quality Control Measures are used to give an accurate client status
    Assists with community-based and facility-based HIV counseling and testing
    Ensure constant adherence awareness talks to clients waiting to get treatment and highlight the importance of clients keeping their appointments and taking their medication on time
    Monitor and manage follow-up treatment supporters that are attached to the clinic
    Update Clinic team on the progress of follow up activities for that sight-based on reports from treatment supporters
    Support differentiated service delivery implementation
    Ensure that missed visit follow-ups are carried out and that missed visit forms are properly filled in
    Ensure that emergency follow-ups are carried out on time and that feedback is given to clinic coordinator on time
    Assist in the development and implementation a community sensitization plan that includes activities such as community stakeholder meetings, drama performances, church talks, etc. to promote HIV prevention and treatment activities
    Maintain filing and patient records
    Ensure that all registers are complete, including the Linkage Register
    Any other duties/responsibilities necessary for the successful functioning of the program

    CIDRZ-Centre for infectious disease research in Zambia

    Community Health Educator – PMTCT/VCT;

    Led a team of Community Lay Counselors to promote task shifting.
    Worked on strengthening relationships between community members and Health Care Providers at clinics in the areas of our operation.
    Led a team that designed the currently used Baby-Mother Pair Defaulter Tracing System within CIDRZ. A system aimed at improving retention of HIV positive mothers and their HIV exposed infants in HIV care and treatment.
    Led a team that developed the currently used standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client follow-up and referral systems as well as male partner invitation slip.
    Worked on improving access to sexual and reproductive health services for the youths in selected communities.
    Worked with community cadres including drama to promote demand for safe motherhood and PMTCT services.
    Worked with SMAGS in improving safe motherhood in the community
