Supervises booking and screening of clients

Supervising cleaning, packing and autoclaving of equipment

Attends and presents MC reports at monthly data review meetings
Head Phlebotomy-Viral Load Champion
Supervises all laboratory activities in the lab
Making sure that correct lab investigations are ordered to ART patients
Ensuring that phlebotomy nurses do proper documentation of patient’s particulars in registers and requisition forms
Ensuring that specimens are correctly ladled
Supervises collection and dispatching of specimens
Making sure that all ART patient’s lab results are entered in registers and smart care
Ensuring that patient’s on ART have updated necessary lab requirements
Prepares weekly viral load reports
Attends and presents viral load reports at monthly data review meetings

General Nursing Duties

Providing nursing services to individuals and the community
Conducting ART/OPD services (ensuring that all patients are attended to on time in the necessary service delivery points).
Doing minor screening of patients
TB management and care
Home based care of chronically ill patients
Management of HIV/AIDS with anti retro viral therapy
And other nursing duties

Doing telephone counselling on various medical and psychosocial issues such as;
Gender based violence, Human trafficking, Medical and health issues, Marital/relationship/sexual issues, Male circumcision, Adherence, Condoms use ,Care and support, etc

General screening of TB patients
Ensuring that all new TB patients are notified and started on treatment immediately
Ensuring that sputum samples are submitted on time and results documented on files
Ensuring that correct treatment regime is given and changed on time.
Supervise distribution of food hampers
Supervises community outreach programs, regarding home based care of chronically ill patients
Ensuring that proper discharge is done both at the facility and district level
Writing and submitting of cohort TB reports
Attending monthly TB meetings and presentation of TB data
Senior Counsellor-counselling department-Riverside clinic
Identifying physical, social and emotional needs of patients
Doing voluntary counselling and testing as well as Diagnostic counselling and testing of HIV/AIDS
Supervising trainee counsellors
Mentoring and supervising lay counsellors
Ensuring that proper counselling is done to clients
Compiling and submitting monthly reports
General Nursing duties
Providing nursing services to individuals and families at the clinics.
Attending to Casualties
Doing minor screening and consultation
Administering medication
Doing dressings of wounds and removal of sutures
Doing children’s clinic and giving vaccines
Conducting family planning clinics
